Assets
Assets are economic resources controlled by the entity with a reliably determinable value, arising from past events, that will result in an inflow of economic benefits to the entity in the future.
Assets can be divided into:
- current assets,
- non-current assets.
The assets employed are one of the three pillars of a functional analysis, alongside functions and risks. An entity that makes significant assets available, including intangibles, should receive corresponding remuneration. See the analysis of assets.
